Was created another module for AutoPitLot on-board computer: the Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) module. Is based on Invensense analog gyroscopes ISZ-500 and IDG-500. Accelerometer MMA7341 come from Freescale. On the board is 16-bit Analog to Digital Converter (ADC), power supply and connector for optional 2 channel analog input port.
The module as most other modules communicate with main board via SPI bus. Module has 2 IO inputs for zeroing gyroscopes and setting sesitivity level of accelerometer. Has build in autodetection to allow computer detect it in any socket, so it's location on main board don't has to be defined in software.
